From our hosts, Jay Neuschatz and Tessy Keller:
“Among the things I am thankful for is the opportunity to participate in the great democratic traditions of our country. More than ever the zeal I and many of you felt during the turbulent 60’s has been reignited. Here in the 19th Congressional district we have an opportunity to make a difference and effect change and replace Republican John Faso. You are invited to meet Jeff Beals, candidate for the Democratic nomination, at TK Home and Garden for a chance to ask the tough questions in an intimate setting.”
Additional info about event:
Please join us for a meet and greet with Jeff Beals, who is running for Congress in New York’s 19th Congressional District, one of the pivotal swing districts in the country.
Jeff is a high school teacher in Woodstock, NY and a former US diplomat who was decorated by both the US Army and State Department for his service in Iraq. He began his career as an intelligence officer with the CIA. His family has had a farm in the Hudson Valley since his childhood.
The NY-19 district is currently held by Mercer-backed Republican, John Faso, who cast a deciding vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Jeff plans to use his experience bringing opposing sides together to unite working people in our district behind a progressive platform that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment and provides healthcare for all. With your help we will face down the corporate powers and lobbyists rigging our economy against working people.
Come join us in our movement to win back our voice in Congress and bring a new generation of leadership to the Democratic Party.
